Focusing on prayer and foundational equipping before entering the harvest field.

2. RECRUIT

Assembling teams and identifying gifted partners to labor together.

3. DISCOVER

Learning how to find "People of Peace" and engage new communities for the first time.

4. GROWTH

Teaching new converts to reach their own natural networks immediately.

5. GROUND

Establishing believers in the commands of Christ and the basics of biblical faith.

6. TRUST

Empowering local leaders to care for their own fellowships as the planter prepares to move forward.

7. MOBILIZE

Activating the new fellowships to send out its own laborers to begin the cycle again.

About Harvest Teams

John's Story
Founder of Church Planting Leadership and the Harvest Teams Initiative, John oversees strategic design, training curriculum, and overall direction.
Dr. John Worcester's mission for decades has been accelerating Kingdom  momentum through evangelistic-growth church planting. This relentless pursuit has led him to plant 8 Biblically-driven evangelistic growth churches in 3 countries. These churches and their offspring have over 20,000 attending.
He has also trained over 5,000 pastors and church planters in dozens of countries, such as Brazil, China, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Philippines, Ukraine, and across the USA. John has created several church planter training curriculums that help  planters contextualize and practically apply Biblical principles, including the "Harvest Like Jesus" seminar.

Meet Stephen

Stephen's Story
Stephen is the Managing Director for Harvest Teams. He started out serving in student ministry in Arlington, TX, then pursued ministry training in Fort Worth while working in HR and Call Centers. Stephen worked on staff at a church in Fort Worth, then moved to Missouri to plant a church in 2018.
Today, Stephen works with churches and ministries to develop local Harvest Teams around the US.
Stephen also partners with John to deliver Harvest Like Jesus trainings around the world.

Meet Jim Anderson

Jim is a Multiplication Catalyst for Harvest Teams.  He has pursued multiplication since coming to Christ through a disciple-making student ministry in 1983.  He has trained and mentored multipliers in student and community ministry across the United States and overseas in various countries in Eastern Europe and Central and South Asia.  He is also the founder of a private equity firm.
